GERMAN RELIABILITY, BRITISH ACCURACY, ITALIAN CREATIVITY

MA.IN.A. OFFERS A LARGE PORTFOLIO OF PRESSURE MONITORING SOLUTIONS, FROM SUCO MECHANICAL PRESSURE SWITCHES MAINLY DESIGNED FOR GENERAL-PURPOSE APPLICATIONS AND MOBILE HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS, TO ESI TRANSMITTERS AND TRANSDUCERS FOR APPLICATIONS IN SEVERAL INDUSTRIES, FROM AEROSPACE TO MEDICAL.

The pressure monitoring portfolio from ma.in.a. s.r.l., based in Peschiera Borromeo near Milan, has been traditionally based on the product range of the German vendor Suco. The mechanical pressure switches from the Stuttgart-based company have always been a reference in terms of long-term resistance to overpressure, stable calibration even under strong vibration, consistent specii cations and tolerances across different production batches. Field applications in different industries have shown that the Suco pressure switches are a technical benchmark, by virtue of their reliability and performance in all conditions, even critical. The acquisition of the British company ESI has given a boost to the Suco organization in the electronic pressure monitoring domain, both for electronic pressure switches and for pressure transmitters and transducers, for both Suco and ESI brands.

A COMPLETE RANGE
Suco products are mainly designed for general-purpose applications and mobile hydraulic equipment, standing out for technological solutions that offer superior long-term stability and "4X" overpressure resistance instead of conventional "2X". This results into higher resistance in the short term, as well as reliability and measurement stability in the long run.
ESI transducers and transmitters are dedicated to applications in the process industry, even heavy-duty or with aggressive i uids, in the control of water reservoirs, in aerospace, medical, Oil&Gas and defense. ESI also offers ATEX and IECEx certii ed transducers, including differential pressure measurement instruments and transducers for pressure up to 4,000 bar. The range also includes transducers for sub sea valves, integrated systems with transducer-transmitter/radio receiver also for long distances, noble materials like titanium, USB output and dedicated software (PC-based measurements from up to 16 transducers simultaneously, generation of custom test reports, pressure and temperature logs with Excel export function). The wide range of solutions offered by ma.in.a. And their partners allows to overcome some traditional limits of conventional instrumentation, already in the early design stages. One-to-one relationship management, which has ensured the success of existing collaborations, is another reason to consider the opportunity of partnering with ma.in.a.

TRANSDUCERS WITH SOS TECHNOLOGY
ESI has applied SOS (Silicon On Sapphire) technology to differential pressure transducers. The PR3200 series is based on two independent sensors on either side, specifically "tuned" and calibrated. In all SOS transducers, wetted parts are made of titanium, offering unbeatable performance with high over pressures and excellent chemical compatibility. With their affordable price, they are extensively used also in less critical, costsensitive situations. Applications include combustion room and cleanroom control, fillter monitoring in high-pressure hydraulic systems and all installations where high levels of accuracy and reliability are required.

INTEGRATED TEMPERATURE SENSOR
The ESI portfolio of transmitters and transducers includes pressure transmitters equipped with integrated temperature sensor with USB output and dedicated software, up to 4,500 bar. The instruments can be calibrated via software and offers excellent accuracy and reliability, also thanks to SOS technology. The stainless steel body and the titanium process connector are compatible with almost all fluid and gases, preventing possible corrosion and leaks. Easy and convenient use are guaranteed by autodetection and automatic system coni guration. The software allows to manage up to sixteen transmitter
simultaneously, display pressure and temperature in graphical and numerical mode, set two alarm thresholds, quickly generate customizable calibration certii cates for other instruments, generate custom certii ed tests with multipoint and pressure/temperature chart, and export data in MS Excel format.
